Aims of the lesson

 

1-     Understanding the concept of reflexive verbs and what meaning they attempt to convey.

2-     Understanding the significance of reflexive object pronouns as used with reflexive verbs. How each one translates into English and realising that not all reflexive verbs in Spanish are used reflexively in English.

3-     Knowing how reflexive verbs are formed with present tense verbs as compared to the formation rules of normal verbs.

4-     Learning and remembering some of the most common reflexive verbs that are used in the Spanish language.

5-     Recognising how most verbs can be used both reflexively and non reflexively and understanding how the meaning of the verb changes.
