Colours and Gender |
Colours are adjectives. Colours are usually used to describe the physical characteristics of a noun. In Spanish adjectives have to agree to the gender of the noun that they are describing. Most colours in Spanish take the same masculine and feminine forms but not all. The following colours take different masculine and feminine endings. |

Colours and Numbers |
All colours in Spanish have to agree with the number of the nouns that they are describing; whether they are singular or plural. Forming plural adjectives depends on the ending of the adjective. Most that end in a vowel are made plural by adding s and most that end in consonant are made plural by adding es. |
